*There is no Boy Scout Summer Camp session during the week of July 4th.

Individuals - follow the directions of your unit camp coordinator to register for Boy Scout Summer Camp at Camp Freeland. If you are camping separately from your unit as a provisional Scout please see below for more information.
Unit Coordinators - Campsite reservations, individual registration, and merit badge selection are all complete through our online registration system. All payments for Boy Scout Summer Camp should be made online with a credit card or e-check (unit checks should be paid by e-check through the online registration system not the Scout stores).

Are you a Scout who would like a 2nd week at camp or cannot attend camp with your troop? Provisional camping is for individual Boy Scouts who are not able to attend summer camp with their own unit. Individual Scouts who want a second week of camp can also use this opportunity. These individual youth are strategically placed within another unit attending camp during that session. This placement is carefully made by the council staff, camp management, and experienced unit leaders from attending troops. Participants must have the approval of their Scoutmaster and provide their own transportation to and from camp. Upon request, a pre-camp meeting will be set up with the recommended troop to make detailed arrangements. ONLINE MERIT BADGE REGISTRATION
ONLINE MERIT BADGE REGISTRATION WILL GO LIVE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1, AT 6:00 PM!
It is mandatory for all troops to register their Scouts for merit badges via the online merit badge registration system. Merit badge registration is now part of the online payment system. This feature will be live until a few days before the camp session begins. The online system allows you to sign up Scouts by name for individual Merit Badges, Challenge Adventure programs, and other select activities. Complete your unit's program registrations well before camp begins to ensure that your Scouts are registered for the badges and programs that they desire. Note that some programs become full or unavailable as the camp session approaches. It is recommended that one designated leader be responsible for the online registration of all Scouts in your unit. Detailed instructions can be found in the registration user guide found on the Forms and Guides page.
There are class size maximums for each merit badge class. These capacities are based on camp resources, and are used to ensure the safest and highest quality learning environment for each Scout. The online registration guarantees the Scouts their placement in each class. Scouts who do not register for badges online before camp may show up to their desired classes the first day, but are not guaranteed a roster spot. Scouts who wish to alter their merit badge selections while at camp may do so, subject to availability.
