 WHAT WILL WE BE DOING AT CAMP?
The Webelos Adventure Camp Schedule
Webelos Adventure Camp at CFL operates on an open program schedule. This means that when Scouts show up to an activity pin class he will stay from that point until the staff member returns to this requirement. There is no specific start or end time for each pin but roughly an hour is designated for each. This allows for Scouts to move at their own pace while at camp. Please refer to the schedules in the Parents & Leaders Guide for more information. (Available Jan 2013)
Activity Pins
Upon completion of a pin, each scout will be given a record sheet. This sheet will list all of the requirements the scout completed. CFL Staff WILL NOT sign Webelos books. The sheets given are the only records used to track scouts work. Parents are highly encouraged to collect these from scouts once they have been passed back.
Cub Scout Awards - 2013
Scouts this year have the opportunity to earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity and Leave No Trace Awareness Awards. Both awards are recommended for second year Webelos and may take additional time to complete in comparison to other offerings at CFL.
  Swimming & Boating
Webelos can earn the Aquanaut Activity Pin at our beautiful Lake Emrick or just enjoy the lake by taking out one of our rowboats. An adult who has passed the swimmer test must accompany each rowboat. There will also be open swim during the afternoon.
 Fishing
Do some fishing from the shore or from a rowboat. There are lots of fish (Perch, Sunfish, Bass, and others) in our lake. We have a limited amount of fishing gear, so please bring your own if you have it.
Handicrafts
Webelos can earn their Artist, Handyman, Engineer, and Showman Activity Pins. Additional crafts can be purchased in the trading post and worked on with the help of the staff.
  Nature
Webelos can earn their Forester, Naturalist, Scientist, and Geologist Activity Pins. Learn about the animals and plants in nature. Take guided explorations of the natural wonders of camp and check out our nature center with its experiments and hands on displays.
Outdoor Skills
Webelos can earn their Citizen, Outdoorsman, Readyman, and Athlete Activity Pins. Play fun games and enjoy the climbing wall. Webelos can also earn their Whittlin’ Chip.
 BB Guns and Archery
Webelos can earn the Archery and BB Gun Sports Belt Loops and/or Activity Pins. Learn to safely handle and shoot a BB gun or a bow and arrow.
