You can't take the "outing" out of Scouting! The outdoor program is one of the biggest features about Scouting that appeals to Scouts, and a week at summer camp is one of the top experiences. Time to start planning for Boy Scout Summer Camp 2010

Even though the weather is getting colder and thoughts are turning to shoveling snow and winter sports, summer will be back before we know it.  Each Troop needs to select a Camp Coordinator to handle communication between the Council Service Center and your Troop’s families, Leaders and Boy Scouts.  We will be getting information on Boy Scout Summer Camp 2010 to each Troop’s Camp Coordinator.   We will be making the CD with leaders guide, forms and promotional slide show available once again.

PROVISIONAL CAMP

Do you have a Scout or two who want a 2nd week at camp or can not attend with his unit?

Provisional Unit Camping is for Boy Scouts who either can’t attend summer camp with their home Troop, or who desire a second week at camp to complete merit badges or enjoy a high adventure program.  The camp will provide qualified adult leadership for the week.  Our web-site has details on the programs offered, see  Leaders Guide in the Camping section of the website.  Participants must have approval of their Scoutmaster and provide their own transportation to and from camp.  We will mail an application and other information when we receive this form.

Provisional Camp is available:

Week 2 - July 4 - July 10, 2010

Week 5 - July 25 - July 31, 2010
